Uruli
Bronze urulis are unique to the Kerala region in India. Traditionally, they are meant to be used as cooking vessels, which gives that antique patina to the dish. In the present day, urulis are used in many alternative ways such as to float candles, flowers and even as a small water garden pool. Here is an image I want to share with you that is featured in my book.

What a wonderful way to use something that was meant for something simple like cooking and turn it into such a beautiful display piece!
