Peanut chaat is served as a snack at bars in India. It's the perfect snack to eat on a rainy day or any time of the day. This chaat is served in Japanese pottery dishes on a rustic bamboo tray, with a nod to Japanese serenity and a wink at Indian authenticity, a typical Komali Nunna style.
Peanut Chaat Recipe
Serves 6
• 1 ½ cups roasted, shelled peanuts
• 1/2 cup chopped red onion
• 2 tablespoons lime juice
• salt to taste
• 1 - 3 minced fresh green chilies, such as serrano
• 4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
• 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder, homemade or store bought
Gently toss all the ingredients together. Serve in individual bowls as an appetizer.

You never fail to entertain and teach me something. This sounds very good and healthy too! I am going to be near an ethnic Indian grocery store today and just may try to find the powder.
