Summer means vine ripened tomatoes from the kitchen garden, aromatic basil from the herb garden and dahlias from the flower garden. For me, summer is not summer without these bright, beautiful dahlias. Every morning, I religiously go out with my cup of coffee to see what is opening up in my dahlia patch. Year after year, my garden parties are planned around my dahlias.

So many dahlias this week. A real festival. So gorgeous. Nothing like those.

Wow Komali, I am joining you from Susans blog, Met Monday, and I read about your book. I have yet to check it out, but I am thrilled with your blog so far. I LOVE your garden, and of course all your delicious food. I enjoy Indian food, and prepare it often, practically daily. I learned everything from my dear mummy when she came for a visit, and continue to learn daily. I think your blog will be a true inspiration for me, and I am so happy to have found it. If you would ever like to share any of your wonderful creations with my readers, please consider joining me for my NEW weekly party. I would love for my readers to be exposed to the many wonders Indian cuisine has to offer. I will be back often, and look forward to seeing more of you. :)
