After all that harvesting and planning the menu, finally the day arrived. If you missed my post about my garden party, please click here.
Here I was, setting the stage for appetizers and drinks. My hubby handled all the alcoholic beverages for the guests. For the party, I made two drinks: mayer lemon lemonade with lemon verbena and saffron cardamom iced tea. Both the recipes are featured in my book, Entertaining From an Ethnic Indian Kitchen.
I bought these two beverage dispensers from Home Goods.
My garden hydrangeas are still going strong.
Since the surroundings are green and luscious, I wanted to keep the focus on the garden. I used a single bloom on a green leaf plate for the centerpiece.
I have a lot more to share about my garden party. Please visit again.
For more memorable centerpieces, tablescapes, and recipes (including gluten free recipes), please check out my book, Entertaining From an Ethnic Indian Kitchen, at my website komalinunna.com.
I am joining Susan's Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday and Cindy for Show and Tell.
What a fun theme and setting. I'll stay tuned for more!
