I want to thank all my readers, followers and blogger friends for all your support and encouragement this past year. Thanks to Bill, Susan, Delores, Ann, Sharon and Kamini for featuring my book, Entertaining From an Ethnic Indian Kitchen in their blog posts. I learned so much from all of you and I cherish all your kind comments. I hope I can be a better blogger in the year 2011 and address all the topics that I enjoy: gardening, cooking and entertaining. I hope to blog more about the health benefits of Indian spices in day-to-day life. I also want to include the culture I grew up with which is still a big part of my life.
I thought what could be a better way to thank all my friends than with a bouquet of flowers. I went to the backyard and cut all these proteas and birds of paradise and arranged them just for you. I know most of the country is covered with snow but we are fortunate that in Southern California the weather is still great other than the rain we had last week and a little nip in the air. We are still harvesting flowers for the house from my garden.
