An invitation to remember

This past month I have received an invitation for my friend's daughter's wedding. I think the invitation sets the standard for a wedding or any other event. Based on the invitation, I know the color theme of the wedding would be pink, orange and gold. I imagine the menu would be as grand as the invitation.  When I attend the wedding I will keep you posted with the wedding decor and tablescape.

Notice Lord Ganesha in the middle of the invitation. Hindus believe that when you pray to Lord Ganesha, he will protect you from all obstacles in life.

I am expecting the bride's saree will be pink, orange and gold!

I love this invitation. I can't wait for the wedding.

I want to share another invitation from another friend's daughter's wedding.

This is a very elegant invitation. I love that lotus theme.

  4. If the colors of the invitations echo the wedding colors those will be amazing events. I've never been to a Hindu wedding but my husband always spoke of those he attended when he lived in Delhi as such amazing spectacles. I hope you can take your camera! -- Jane F.
