Cooking With Lentils & Spices

Cookbook author, Komali Nunna will show you how to incorporate lentils and spices into everyday meals for better health.
Lemon rice makes a perfect meal with the combination of rice, legumes for protein, turmeric (a powerful antioxidant), ginger (another powerful antioxidant and digestive aid) and nuts. Antioxidants never tasted so good.
Lentils and legumes are a near perfect protein choice for many vegetarian Indians. Lentil-Spinach Soup is a heart-healthy, low fat, and flavorful soup that can be made in minutes using Trader Joe’s ingredients.
