Hydrangea and agapanthus

Today I did my usual Sunday morning ritual, strolling through my garden and making arrangements for the house. I pick whatever catches my eye for that day and bring it in to arrange it for my house.

During this time of the year, hydrangeas are in full bloom.

I decided to go for an all white arrangement with a touch of green. To bring interest and different textures into the arrangement, I combined hydrangeas with white agapanthus (also called lily of  the Nile) and greenery from the yard.

  6. Beautiful arrangement. I also went a little "hydrangea happy" this year- it was the first year I had tons of blooms to cut and bring into the house. Stop by if you get a chance.
