Today, we are having the first rain of the season in southern California. Baking is one of my favorite rainy day activities. I went to my orchard, picked apples, and made apple crisp. My house smells divine. What could be better than warm apple crisp and ginger chai on a rainy day?
Variegated figs compliment the garden mums in the centerpiece.
There is something comforting about these handle-less mugs. It is nice to wrap your hands around the warm mug and sip tea on a chilly day.
Ginger chai feels good on a rainy day!
Tomorrow's post is about this irresistible apple crisp.
