My Deepawali Table
This is the continuation of Getting ready for Deepawali. I set the table with bright pink silk fabric and lots of candles in keeping with the theme of Deepawali.
Lord Shiva's prayer offering dish takes center stage for the Deepawali table.
Bright multicolored candle holders add a festive touch.

ReplyDeleteHi Komali,
ReplyDeleteToday I have no tablescape, because my first blog party "International Christmas Cookies" kept me busy. Wouldn't you like to participate with an indian cookie recipe? The link is open until Nov. 6.
I enjoyed your tablescape very much. I have never been in India but this table shows perfecty my vision. This abundance of color, shapes and ornaments is just perfect. It is rich but not too much. Very tasteful and bright. I always enjoy your decorations. The lotos shaped crystal candleholders are perfect and the colored blown ones are whimsical. Thank you for showing your celebration table.
Greetings, Johanna
How pretty these colors are! So bright and elegant.
ReplyDeleteI just read your profile, and I KNEW the name of your blog sounded familiar! I saw your book on Amazon.com awhile back, and my friend bought it!!! I remembered thinking how pretty so many of the photos were, especially the place setting on page 16 and the peacock placemat. There was also an elephant with a lot of jewelry on it that I really loved. Wow...small world!!! Great job!
