What I miss about New England

This past week, my daughter and I traveled to New England. That trip made me realize how much I missed New England. We used to live in Boston. When I go back, it is like going back to my home.  I truly miss having four distinct seasons associated with New England's weather. I know I can't complain about southern California living. Still, New England has so much charm and character.

As crazy as it sounds, I miss snow.

Missing the friends and family who fed us and spoiled us.

Missing the great places to eat.

Missing New England's architecture.
.

As much as I enjoyed my vacation, it is great to be back home.

  1. Hello Komali,
isn't it amazing how long some memories last and they are not always the really important ones. A certain smell, a noise, a special look on something quite unimportant stays in ones mind for ever. I have several memories like that and it is always very nice and a little bit painfull also, to get back to this places. But how lovely to have the possibility to get back. To keep in contact with friends is so easy today with world wide web and Skype.
    Wish you a wonderful week.
    Greetings, Johanna

  4. Great photos...they are making me homesick! Having been born and brought up in Vermont, there are times I really wish I still lived there, especially the quaint little villages, definitely the architecture and the good North Atlantic seafood
