Flower Arranging

Today, I participated in the Casa Pacifica Wine and Food Festival. Before going to the festival, I strolled through my garden to get the inspiration for my flower arrangement. Yesterday, while cleaning up the palm trees, my husband trimmed the inflorescence from the trees. That was the inspiration for my flower arrangement today. A lot of people came by my booth and inquired about the unusual foliage in my arrangement.

Palm tree inflorescence on the floor waiting to be discarded.

  1. Hello Komali,
the palm inflorescences are a beautiful addition to your flowers. Why did your husband removed them all. Is it bad for the palms to have them? But was great for your bouquet.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  4. What a beautiful arrangement! I picked some of this up on the street side in Charleston,SC and used in for a centerpiece last summer. It dried very well too.

  5. How marvelous your arrangement is with the addition of the "waste" from the palm trees! Love the texture and the colour especially with the flowers!
