Book Release Party

Last Sunday, I had a party to some of my associates and cooking enthusiasts to give everyone a preview of  my second book, Trader Joe's Simply Indian. I am ecstatic to report that the book was received very well by all the people who attended, especially by working women who are trying to balance the work and feed their family healthy and nutritious meals with limited time available. This book is filled with healthy and flavorful recipes that can be prepared quickly and easily by even the most novice cooks with a picture for every recipe. They liked the fact that with this book, you don't need to go to an Indian supermarket to make authentic Indian food. How cool is that? Over 90% of the people who attended the event bought multiple copies of the book. Yay!

I served food in a family style. Everyone helped themselves and mingled in the party.

  7. What a beautiful smile! I love Indian food. My neighbor spoils me with the most amazing dishes. Her father cooks in the open in the garage, so when you see the smoke coming out the door... (yes) I know something good is going on in there ! Love your post.
