Set the table for Thanksgiving

Centerpieces on my tables reflects what is growing in my garden. Thanksgiving isn't an exception. Centerpiece for this years Thanksgiving table is set with garden persimmons, gourds and nandina berries.

Have you noticed freshly harvested pomegranates in the basket? Next table, I am thinking of setting the table with pomegranates. What do you think?

  1. What a stunning centerpiece! I love the colors, and they are perfect with the dishes you're featuring. I vote YES on using the pomegranates as a centerpiece on another table!

  3. Your centerpiece is gorgeous with the soft hues with the persimmons and gourds. The pomegrantes arranged on the buffet really caught my eye. The china is perfect with your centerpiece and coordinates so wonderfully. Have a great Thanksgiving!

  4. So pretty! Yes!!!! I want to see what you'll do with pomegranates. I love the centerpiece. I am amazed by the size of your persimmons. I have two persimmon trees that yield tiny, tiny fruit in comparison to yours. Do you fertilize your trees? I just "discovered" these trees recently. They border the woods on our property, so maybe they are of a wild variety. At any rate, I, too, will use them next year in an arrangement. Really lovely!

    1. Hi Christa,
I didn't know persimmons grow wildly. Mine are Japanese Fuyu variety. We do fertilize ones a year during Spring. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. I have never seen nandina berries ( here in western Pennsylvania ) and pomegranates are dearly priced here...so buying one or two is a treat...
