Kitchen garden harvest

One of the greatest pleasures of summer for me is harvesting from the kitchen garden. Nothing says summer like plucking a ripened tomato from the garden, sinking your teeth into it, and squirting juice all over your shirt. Don't you agree?

My menu planning begins from the harvest of the day

  1. Oh yes! I love walking in the garden and harvesting. It gives me such a sense of peace. What is the wrinkled squash or cuke you show there?

    1. Nancy,
Those are bitter melons. It is the best vegetable to eat for some one has diabetes or high blood pressure. It has lots of antioxidant properties.

  3. There is absolutely nothing better than tomatoes in the summer! Your garden's bounty looks marvelous - some things I don't recognize! I am delighted that you shared with Home and Garden Thursday,
