Floating Centerpiece

I always set the table for my cooking classes. I want my students to learn not only how to cook Indian food, but also how to create an atmosphere to sit and dine with people. For yesterday's class, I didn't have time to make an arrangement for the table. I quickly went to my dahlia garden, plucked some blooms and floated them in a crystal bowl along with geranium leaves. Voila! My floating centerpiece was ready.

I am joining Susan's Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday, Patty's Weekly StorySeasonal Sundays, Table top Tuesday and Tablescape Thursday.

  2. Hi Komali,
Dahlias are so pretty and colorful like Indian saris. I think, they look this way the best.

  13. Those Dahlias are 2die4. Wish I could grow them but they don't like our soil. They are just drop dead gorgeous in every color. One cannot beat a centerpiece like you made.
