Today, I pruned my coleus. It is important to pinch off the flowers to make the plant bushy and healthy.
Here is my pruned coleus.
I didn't have the heart to throw away the beautiful pruned coleus leaves so I used them. I cut one white hydrangea from the garden and used all the pruned coleus leaves and made an arrangement for my kitchen table.

You would die laughing at my coleus - I just planted it 2 weeks ago, but they are only a few inches high!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty flower arrangement! If you leave those coleus in water long enough they'll probably take root...and you'll have more coleus plants!

ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with Anonymus. The cuttings get easy roots and you can plant them in the garden also. Coleus is a nice plant. I love that vibrant colors. Looks somehow spicy.
