From the garden

Today, I pruned my coleus. It is important to pinch off the flowers to make the plant bushy and healthy.

Here is my pruned coleus.

I didn't have the heart to throw away the beautiful pruned coleus leaves so I used them. I cut one white hydrangea from the garden and used all the pruned coleus leaves and made an arrangement for my kitchen table.

  7. What a pretty flower arrangement! If you leave those coleus in water long enough they'll probably take root...and you'll have more coleus plants!

  10. Yes, I agree with Anonymus. The cuttings get easy roots and you can plant them in the garden also. Coleus is a nice plant. I love that vibrant colors. Looks somehow spicy.
