Do you remember last week's post about Cherry picking? Well, before all the cherries disappeared, I saved a few to arrange them with my flowers. I do think of food as an art. When I saw blushing Rainer cherries on branches, I was not just thinking about how to savor them, but I was also thinking about how to incorporate them into my arrangements. Today, as I was strolling through my garden, I picked some white hydrangeas, three coral-orange colored dahlias, some green proteas, yellow colored astromerias, and some variegated geranium leaves. I chose bamboo covered pottery for my arrangement. I think the container you use is as important as flowers. Here is the metamorphosis of Rainer cherries along with all the other elements. What do you think?
