A few weeks ago, I bought a pencil tree at a garage sale. The pencil tree is gorgeous on its own, but I wanted to make it a focal point in the garden. So I gathered some succulents and made a container garden using the pencil tree as the center of attention. This arrangement hardly needs water and looks good year round. Best of all, I can move this container to any corner in the garden.
