Weekend clicks

I had a very busy and fun-filled weekend.
My weekend began with brunch with friends from out of town. Brunch is the best way to spend time with your friends.

Then that evening we attended one of our good friend's daughter's Sangeet. A Sangeet is the pre-wedding party, an evening of applying henna on your hands, singing, and dancing, filled with joy. Here are some pictures taken before the party started.

I like the simple but elegant table setting.

Here I am, ready for the gala!

For more memorable centerpieces, tablescapes, and recipes (including vegetarian, gluten free and vegan recipes),please check out my books, Entertaining From an Ethnic Indian Kitchen and Trader Joe's Simply Indian at my website komalinunna.com.
