Entertaining with breakfast

In the honor of fall, last Sunday we invited few of our friends over for breakfast. The weather was perfect to entertain in the garden. What could be better than sitting with friends, eating scones and sipping iced coffee in garden? I love the idea of entertaining in the morning and having the rest of the day to relax.

I made two different kinds of scones, featuring one kind from each of my books.

Somehow my garden produce weaves its way into my entertaining menu. In this case, my garden zucchinis were made into zucchini pancakes, which was the star of the menu.

Homemade granola and yogurt parfaita recipe from my latest cookbook, Trader Joe's Simply Indian.
